For more than 30 years, I’ve helped authors, speakers, coaches, and entrepreneurs build visibility through speaking, books, podcast interviews, and content marketing.
One of the first things I tell clients is this:
Consistency matters.
Then one morning, while out on my daily walk listening to podcasts, I had one of those moments that stopped me in my tracks.
I realized I wasn’t following my own advice.
I’m a podcast binge listener. When I discover a show I enjoy, I’ll often listen to episode after episode. But when a podcast suddenly goes quiet for weeks or months, I usually drift away and
find something else to listen to.
And then it hit me.
That’s exactly what I had been doing with my own listeners.
There was a time when a new episode of Plant-Based Eating for Health went out every week like clockwork. Then client work increased, book projects took priority, and before I knew it, my own podcast had slipped to the bottom of the list.
It was the classic case of the plumber with the leaky faucet.
Rule #1
I had broken one of my own biggest rules.
So, I’m changing that.
Starting now, I’m recommitting to releasing a new episode every week. I’m committing to Rule #1: Consistency
This latest episode is really a fresh beginning. I share my journey from becoming plant-based in 2018 for health reasons to embracing veganism six months later because of the animals. I also give you a preview of what’s coming over the next several months.
We’ll be exploring topics such as:
- The top reasons people choose a plant-based lifestyle.
- The science-backed benefits of eating more whole plant foods.
- The difference between plant-based eating and veganism.
- Common myths that continue to confuse people.
- How to transition without feeling overwhelmed.
- Why ultra-processed vegan foods aren’t the answer.
- Real-life stories from people whose health has dramatically improved after changing what they eat.
But the podcast isn’t only about food.
Because I work with vegan and plant-based authors, speakers, coaches, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs every day, I’ll also be sharing practical marketing strategies to help more people hear your message.
We’ll cover podcast guesting, book marketing, public speaking, building authority, and increasing your visibility without feeling like you’re constantly selling.
After all, having an important message isn’t enough.
People have to know you exist.
The Struggle is Real
I’ve watched incredibly talented people struggle simply because they stayed hidden. I’ve also seen mission-driven businesses transform their impact because they consistently showed up and shared their expertise.
That’s exactly what I intend to do.
Show up.
Every week.
Whether you’re here because you want to improve your health, learn more about plant-based living, advocate for animals, or build a business that makes a difference, I hope you’ll join me.
And if you’ve been with me through the inconsistent periods, thank you for hanging in there. I appreciate you more than you know.
I’d love to know what topics you’d most like me to cover in future episodes. And if you’re not already subscribed to Plant-Based Eating for Health, now’s a great time to join me for the journey ahead.
And, I’d love for you to subscribe and leave a review wherever you watch or listen. This will help the show… a LOT!
