Who’s in? I’m starting a 21 day Plant Based Eating for Health challenge November 1, 2019.

This will give you time to prepare by clearing out foods that don’t serve you, shopping for foods that will help you on your journey and possibly reading books and watching documentaries to shift your perception and mindset.

Goal: 21 days of healthy plant based eating

What it takes? Only the desire to feel better in the next 21 days than you can imagine.

During the 21 days you commit to eat 100% plant based void of all animal and dairy products. Additionally, no added salt, processed sugar or processed oils to your diet.

What to do to prepare...

Thanksgiving Dinner

Get a food journal. Here is a faux leather journal. The reason for faux is in keeping with compassion to animals. https://amzn.to/33N5G5E

You can keep this as simple or elaborate as you desire. A spiral bound notepad works or you can buy a journal off of Amazon.

Day One: Weigh yourself and then put the scale away for the next 21 days. The reason to put the scale away is this is NOT a diet. This is a lifestyle shift. You WILL most likely drop weight but if weight loss is your only focus, you are missing the greatest benefit of a plant based eating protocol.

You may need to talk to your doctor if you are on medication. In many cases you will dramatically reduce your need for some medications within a very short period of time.

Take a picture of yourself both front view and side view.

Note in your journal how you’re feeling on day one.

Then… get ready. This will be a life changing experience. Imagine what is possible in 21 days. You will likely feel better, look better, have more energy, minimize or eliminate inflammation, and so much more.

There are no guarantees other than, if you are not eating as healthy as you know is possible, and continue to do so, most likely nothing will change or you will amplify any health challenges you have.

It’s up to you. What is the quality of life you choose to have?

For those who are very plant based, please share your best practice and tips for beginning a serious plant based eating protocol. Please keep in mind, many people in the group are brand new to this and may feel overwhelmed. The simpler it is to do this the better.
