On Day Six of the 21 Day Challenge, I highlighted four of my favorite Plant Based Facebook groups. Today, I share insights on six great podcast shows that are plant-based and vegan focused.

A few years ago, plant-based podcasts were non-existent. Today, you will find lots to choose from with more coming on the horizon every day.

If you’re new to the world of podcasts, a few to start with are listed below.

The Rich Roll Podcast

One of the first I listened to when I started my plant-based transformation was The Rich Roll Podcast.

There were a few reasons for this. One, Rich is 100% plant based. Two, Rich went from 50 pounds overweight, miserable with his life as an attorney to an ultra-athlete.

Before: 210 pounds —————– After: 160 pounds

In that I wanted to improve my skill as a runner, I gravitated to his message.

Three, his show is rated as one of the top on the subject of high performance for plant-based eaters.

Rich is down to earth, pushes limits, is a committed husband and father and has a unique perspective on life and living. I personally find this very appealing.

Lean, Green Dad

What I love about what host, Cory Warren is doing is leading the way of what great parenting includes which is raising his children on super healthy foods.

Lean Green DAD™ Radio has weekly discussions about food, family and fun. Guests and topics exist to inspire, motivate and help you get the most out of life.

They focus on the areas of plant-based nutrition, fitness, parenting and overall wellness. There is also a very content-filled blog about the plant-based lifestyle for the entire family.

Brown Vegan

You may think vegan life is complicated, expensive, bland, or just too extreme to make a lifestyle. This isn’t true!

Host, Monique Koch, has made it her life’s work and mission to show you how very simple the vegan lifestyle can be.

As Monique says, “I’m the person to help you start (and stay on) a vegan journey with your family! After being on this journey with my own family since 2010, I know how simple, delicious and long-term this lifestyle can be.

“When we started our own vegan journey, I was overwhelmed by the grocery shopping, meal planning and complaints from my family. I promise once you get consistent and persistent with all of these areas it will get easier to navigate this vegan life.”

You will discover that this lifestyle is simple, the food is tasty, and you can do it long-term with a family. YOUR family.
