One of the first pieces of advice virtually any marketing advisor will give to a client is to know your market. Regardless of whether you’re marketing online or offline you need to know who your market is and equally important what their “pain points” are.
In that I work with speakers, authors, coaches and consultants who want to turn their information into money making products and services and sell them on (and with) the Internet, it is essential to know as much about their needs as possible.

One way to find out is to simply ask. One of the easiest forms of asking is with an online survey.
