Thanks Kathleen. Nice list, and agreed that IM may not be for everybody, especially if people are not willing to put in the work over the long haul.
Cracking the Internet marketing nut takes much longer, and takes more investment in time and money than most people realize…and often people get very discouraged when the reality of it (building any business) sets in.
This is a great quiz to take before you begin….take it twice!
It’s about making the commitment for the long haul.
#2 expanded… I will take the time to find reputable experts (like Kathleen!) and then put in the time to learn from those reputable experts! Kathleen, after listening to many – I’m glad to have found YOU! Thank you for sharing your expertise.
Thank you for your kind words Alice.
Even if you’re not an “Internet Marketer” chances are your business could benefit from marketing on the Internet. I am an energy healer, and I use the Internet to market my healing practice. Like many healers, when I was first starting out I thought that all I needed to do was be an excellent Resonance Repatterning Practitioner.. I soon learned that was only the first step. I also needed to learn about effective marketing techniques to let the world know about my services. That has been an essential factor in my success.
You’re so correct Elizabeth. 99% of my clients are NOT what you would call Internet marketers, but they definitely benefit from using the Internet to market. The Internet serves us in so many ways.
Dear Kathleen,
Even though I haven’t started internet marketing yet, I think you are 100% correct about the things one needs to ask and feel confident about before starting to do this fascinating business.
Kathleen,
Great quiz. Anyone who begins online is bombarded with emails from the “Gurus” explaining how quickly and easily we can make six figures and even seven figures. “Just follow these steps.” What they fail to mention is “Just follow these steps for the next 3, 5 or 10 years” and you will surely make it.
What I have discovered is, just as there is no quick fix for healing an illness, there is no quick fix for healing a love relationship, and there is also no quick fix for creating wealth online. It is a building process and there are many pieces to put into place. Good coaching really helps.
Warmly,
Dr. Erica
Well, Kathleen, your quiz affirmed my place in this journey I’m on. I’ve sacrificed a LOT in my life to be on this path. Most people would have quit lonnng ago, but, I visualized something much greater for my life and am pullled in that direction every day — even though some of it challenges my deepest fears. I am patient and do invest in myself (that investment reflects a percentage of my income). I am a life long learner and will always seek to understand more through a variety of means. There’s so much to learn and share. Thank you for what you do and for sharing your knowledge. It makes a positive difference for me.
Nancy
Thank you for your comments and honesty Nancy. You are so right. Most quit in this journey and never realize the blessings that will be created.
Hi kathleen, Another stellar post. It makes me feel better when so many read my blogs as well, but don’t take steps and invest real time and money to develop themselves as authorities like you!
I, myself, figured out that I am cut our for online marketing–so mnay benefits compared to the old days.
Ok if I use this as a guest blog article? It will make the rounds of LI groups and also be at my site for my data base.
